Camera Rambles

Tuesdays & Saturdays at 1pm @Reeth (Year Round)

Fridays at 2pm @Keld (Summer Only)

    • Do you want to take better landscape photographs?
    • Get the best out of your camera?
    • Walk & talk about photography?

Join us on our weekly camera rambles where you can learn new skills with your camera, be it a compact or SLR, digital or film, and experience how professional landscape photographers work.
Our walks are fun and informal lasting up to two hours starting at our gallery in Silver Street, Reeth.
Call us on the morning of the day you'd like to attend and turn up at 1pm on a Tuesday or Saturday at our gallery in Silver Street, Reeth or email us with your name and contact number and the date you'd like to join us. We keep our groups to a maximum of five to ensure plenty of time with everyone so is on a first come first served basis.

You should bring the following with you when you come on a camera ramble.

  • Camera - Bring what you have. Compact/SLR/Digital/Film. We will help you get the best from it.
  • Tripod - if you have one, we have a limited number available for you to borrow.
  • Spares - batteries, memory cards, film etc.
  • Good walking boots or shoes - Our walks are generally low level centering on Reeth but some footpaths can be a little uneven.
  • Coat/Fleece and waterproofs - Dales weather can be unpredictable.
  • Enthusiasm! This is important - you must want to learn to get the most from a camera ramble.
